Shed Base Requirements
A solid, level base is essential for correct installation.
We cannot install a shed on uneven, soft or unsafe ground.
Suitable shed bases include:

Unsuitable bases:
✘ Soil, grass or mud
✘ Loose gravel
✘ Uneven patios
✘ Sloped or sinking ground
If your base is unsuitable, our installation team may refuse the installation for safety reasons.
Access Requirements
To ensure safe and efficient delivery, we require clear, unobstructed access from the road to your installation area. Shed panels are delivered in pre-assembled sections, so safe access is essential for our team to carry the materials.
Access Guidelines:
Minimum access width: 750mm – 900mm depending on the shed size
No climbing over walls, sheds, buildings, or entering neighbouring property without permission
Customer must clear any obstacles such as garden furniture, bins, plants, or debris
Panels must be carried safely by hand to the base location
Access must not require unsafe lifting, bending, or unusual manoeuvring
Aftercare & Maintenance
To keep your shed in top condition, we recommend:
Treating your shed with a high-quality wood preservative within 14 days
Re-treating annually
Ensuring good airflow around the building
Keeping the roof clear of debris
Regular checks for timber movement (a natural part of seasonal expansion)
